Jean Guthrie is the founder of Jean Guthrie Beauty Care. The company was launched in South Africa in 1980 and today markets a range of prestige cosmetics and fine fragrances internationally.

Jean Guthrie Beauty Care is a direct selling company founded on Christian principles and distributes its products through independent consultants who operate their own business under the Jean Guthrie umbrella. Her extremely motivated and well trained direct selling force continues to expand and her product, which is highly sought after, is researched and developed to the highest international standards.

Jean trained in Paris and is a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, the Cosmetic Toiletry and Fragrance Association and an affiliate member of the South African Association of Health and Skin Care Professionals. Jean was selected as a finalist in the business category of South Africa's Woman of 1997.
